Okay, little detective! When you read, first look for the words that tell what happens. Then ask: Where is it? Who is there? What does the character do?
If the question says "Why?", look for words like "because", "so", "therefore". The answer is often right there.
If you don't know a new word, don't stop. Look at the sentence and ask: Is it happy or scary? good or bad?
Prof Owl trick: start your answer with: "The text says that...". That helps you stay correct.
